60 organizations at the 2nd annual summit
World Active, global platform for fitness and physical activity, brought together over 60 organizations from around the world at the second annual summit. The meeting on April 12, 2024 at FIBO Global Fitness in Cologne marked a turning point for the industry.
Chair Amy Boone Thompson emphasized the importance of the meeting and the cooperation with the WHO. The elections to the World Active Council adhered to the charter and represent different regions. Marcus Schwedhelm from swiss active emphasized that World Active can be a powerful force for the fitness industry.
The World Active Summit, held annually, brings together stakeholders to address opportunities and challenges. The World Active Manifesto sets out key objectives.
