The association swiss active is further expanding the representation of different types of providers: with Alessandro Biassoni Schmitz and Dario Danubio, two representatives of small, owner-managed studios bring additional perspectives to the Board.
Alessandro Biassoni Schmitz and Dario Danubio are now strengthening the Board of swiss active as representatives of small, owner-managed fitness and health centres. They bring the perspectives of independent, locally rooted studios into the strategic work and thereby complement the views of the existing Board members. In this way, the needs of both large and small providers are equally reflected in areas such as prevention, product development and framework conditions for the sector.
Formats such as the swiss active day and the annual general meeting make this diversity visible: represented are traditional fitness centres, health and prevention providers as well as specialised studios. This breadth is also reflected in the Key Data Study on the Swiss fitness industry, which swiss active develops together with academic partners and which depicts the development of the sector as a whole.
One united voice for the sector
Swiss active is the association for fitness centres and course providers in Switzerland and brings together a wide range of member companies – from nationwide operators to small, locally rooted studios. Together, they work to ensure that physical activity, health and prevention services are accessible in all regions and for all age groups.
With this broad base, swiss active sees itself as a partner of the entire Swiss fitness industry and as the voice of all providers who get people moving.
