Invitation to the industry conference on June 11, 2024
swiss active is pleased to present the third comprehensive study on the Swiss fitness industry, which shows that the industry is in better shape than ever before. Last year’s study showed a clear recovery in the industry in the first year after the pandemic. The current study examines whether this high level has been maintained or even increased and what trends are emerging for the future.
For the third time, swiss active has collected the latest key data on the Swiss fitness industry together with the German University for Prevention and Health Management (DHfPG). The study includes comparative values over four years and offers a representative quantitative analysis that creates market transparency and also enables comparisons with neighboring countries. Key figures are presented, comparisons drawn and developments highlighted. The study answers the following questions, among others:
“After some difficult years, the fitness industry is in a better position than ever before and has every reason to remain confident about the future,” says Marcus Schwedhelm, President of swiss active. “For more and more people, training is a fixed item on their agenda, also as part of active health prevention. The bottom line is that the whole of Switzerland benefits from this.”
