For 28 years, Procamed AG has been the competent specialist in the field of resuscitation and the general importer for defibrillators from ZOLL in Boston, USA. In the meantime, over 20,000 defibrillators for first responders, so-called ZOLL AEDs, have been installed throughout Switzerland.
Particularly in the gym, cardiac failure can occur during exercise if, for example, a congenital heart defect was never recognized or an athlete suddenly suffers a heart attack. Recently, the Danish national player, Christian Eriksen, was successfully resuscitated after his unexpected collapse during a European Championship football match through immediate resuscitation measures, together with the use of a ZOLL defibrillator.
It usually takes more than 10 minutes for the emergency services to arrive. It is therefore all the more important to save lives as quickly as possible with a defibrillator. The ZOLL AED guides you through the entire resuscitation process in simple steps and supports the first aider during chest compressions (CPR).
