However, you bear the full risk and must continuously develop your positioning in order to remain economically successful.
Whether a franchise or your own brand – which model suits you better depends largely on your personal experience, your goals and your working style. For newcomers without in-depth industry knowledge or business know-how, a franchise system can be an attractive solution. The clear structures, accompanying support and proven concept make it much easier to get started. Those who are more security-oriented and have little experience in marketing or setting up a studio will benefit from this managed form of self-employment.
The situation is different if you have already worked in the fitness industry, want to develop creatively and have a clear idea of what your studio should look like. In this case, having your own brand offers significantly more creative freedom – from the price structure to the interior design. You can stand out from the crowd, sharpen your profile and grow independently in the long term.
