swiss active presents the first comprehensive study on the Swiss fitness industry in year 1 after the coronavirus pandemic
Fitness center closures, reluctant customers, restrictions on training – the coronavirus pandemic has hit the Swiss health and fitness industry hard. Where did the industry stand in year 1 after the pandemic? And what trends are emerging for the future? The industry association swiss active is presenting its comprehensive study on the key data of the Swiss fitness industry for the second time; the analysis thus includes comparative values over four years for the first time.
swiss active has once again collected the latest key data on the Swiss fitness industry together with the German University for Prevention and Health Management (DHfPG). The result is once again a representative quantitative study that creates market transparency. Key figures are presented, comparisons drawn and developments highlighted. The study provides answers to these questions and more:
- How has the number of providers developed since the end of 2019? How are they doing financially?
- How are membership figures looking? Is there more training in the centers again?
- How have membership fees developed?
