General Terms and Conditions

I. Registration

Registrations can only be accepted in writing using the appropriate registration form (by fax, post, or online) and are binding. Registrations will be confirmed in writing.

II. Course Fees

The current course fees can be found on the swiss active website. The price includes the on-site sessions as well as the course materials. Travel expenses, accommodation, and meals are the responsibility of the participants. Course fees must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the course.

III. Rebooking Conditions

The participant must notify swiss active in writing of any rebooking before the course begins. A rebooking fee of 20% administrative costs based on the course fee will apply.

IV. Cancellation Policy

The participant must submit cancellations to swiss active in writing and by registered mail. The postmark date is decisive. For cancellations (including with a medical certificate), the cancellation fees are as follows: 20% of the course fee after receipt of the registration confirmation 50% of the course fee less than 30 days before the course begins 100% of the course fee after the course has started.

V. Complaints

Complaints can be submitted in writing by post or online to the attention of the board. Complaints regarding courses and events will be accepted up to 14 days after their conclusion. swiss active always strives to resolve complaints as quickly as possible and to inform the person concerned promptly.

VI. Privacy Policy

Your data will not be used in any way without your consent. We handle your data discreetly and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

VII. Copyright

Participants are advised that the copyright for all publications rests with swiss active, and any further use of any kind — particularly reproduction or distribution to third parties — requires the prior written consent of swiss active’s management. Any violations will be penalized in each individual case with a contractual penalty corresponding to the amount of the damage incurred. This does not affect any further claims for compensation.

VIII. Price and program changes

Price and program changes are reserved by swiss active. swiss active reserves the right to cancel courses without replacement. Participants will be informed in good time and will receive a full refund of any course fees already paid. No further compensation can be claimed.

X. Costs in the event of late payment

Processing fee (charged no earlier than after two written reminders following the due date, upon transfer to a debt collection agency).
If the invoice amount of the second reminder is not paid by the specified due date, we will assign the claim to Intrum AG without further notice. This will result in additional costs in accordance with fairpay.ch.

XI. Insurance

swiss active accepts no liability for accidents or theft during courses, workshops, or events. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.

XII. Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Zurich. Swiss law applies.

XIII. Final Provisions

Should any provisions of the contract with the customer, including these General Terms and Conditions, be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The wholly or partially invalid provision shall be replaced by an individual provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
