World Active becomes reality!
The first World Active General Assembly took place on April 13 and 14, 2023 as part of this year’s FIBO Global Fitness trade fair in Cologne. Among the approximately 50 organization representatives from various nations, swiss active President Reto Conrad and Board Member Marcus Schwedhelm were also present at the event. swiss active was involved in the founding of World Active as a founding member of the continental association Europe Active. World Active is the global platform for the fitness and exercise industry “World Active”.
Barrie Elvish was elected as the first president. World Active aims to work closely with the WHO (World Health Organization) to promote and develop the physical activity and health of the world’s population.
