Thanks to our diversity. We specialize in competitive athletes, but even an 80-year-old grandpa can train with us without any problems. It’s also a very personal gym. Everyone knows everyone, as we are in a very rural location.

What is the motivation to be a member of swiss active?

Staying up to date with what’s going on in the Swiss fitness scene. Exploit possible synergies and strengthen the exchange with nearby fitness centers.

How will the exercise and fitness industry change in the future? What will the future studio look like?

I don’t think a broad range of products will do any harm in the future. So that you can cover as much as possible under one roof. Integrated therapy options will probably become more important in the future (physio, massage, etc.). Nevertheless, I also see opportunities in a specification that specifically addresses certain population groups. For example, a competitive sports setting, bodybuilding or lifestyle fitness. I think this model is significantly more difficult to survive, as it is less broadly based.
