Demonstration “Sport is a human right” in Bern

Next Saturday a demonstration with the slogan: “Sport is a human right” is planned in Bern by unknown fitness operators. The aim of the demo is that they want an opening of all sports facilities incl. the gyms demand. The city of Bern has not approved the event and the organizers wish to remain anonymous.

Even if the current situation around the COVID-19 pandemic with the new tightened measures of the FOPH are still so hard for the fitness operators of Switzerland, IG Fitness Switzerland distances itself explicitly from the idea and the realization of this planned unauthorized demonstration in Bern and does not see it as an appropriate action in the current situation.
